I love photographing children!
That’s why I’m always looking for different ways of making your photoshoot even more fun. I’m proud to say that most of the families I have photographed come back for a new photoshoot every year. And we don’t even need to do too much advertising: 98% of the new families come through recommendation!
PARENT’S LOVE
Children’s happiness and their way of expressing their love towards their parents is something unique. I strive to capture the play, the interaction and the fun within a family, and to get to work with the parents as a team.
A successful photoshoot is a photoshoot where the family spends time together as they would if I werent there! That’s why I choose to photograph you at home or anywhere your child/children feel most comfortable at.
FAMILY PHOTOJOURNALISM
I’m a lifestyle photographer, which means that I use my background in photojournalism to photograph your children. It means that I photograph them as they are, trying to catch their personalites on camera, capture the precious candid moments, without interferring too much in what they do or how they should behave. I believe that the best shot are captured in candid moments! I do not photograph in a studio.
YOUR PICTURES
All pictures are delivered on a CD or a DVD, as high-resolution negatives, in 300dpi, 20×30cm JPGS or TIFF files. Post-processing of pictures is a very important part of my work. All the pictures you get are thoroughly processed and digitally enhanced in Photoshop, giving you perfect fine art negatives. This means that you are free to make as many paper prints as you’d like from your negatives, wherever you’d like. I can also help you decide what kind of prints or ready products would best fit your home.
A photoshoot usually takes about one hour. Photography hours, picture enhancing, a personal homepage for picture viewing and all watermarked thumbnails are included in our prices.
DESTINATION PHOTOGRAPHY
I’ve been photographing children abroad for many years. As I can speak fluent English, Portuguese, and Swedish and can communicate in Spanish and Italian, photographing children in other countries gets much easier!
If you live abroad and would like me to come to your city/country, all you need to do is to gather at least 10 families that would also be interested in having their family pictures taken and I’ll come to you, anywhere in the world!
If you are the photoshoot organizing family, you also get your first 10 pictures free of charge.
TEENS – 11-19 year olds
A whole new concept in Photography, designed specially for you who would also like to have your teens photographed.
I’ve noticed throughout the years that families stop photographing their children when they reach their teens. Why? Because older kids would like to have a say on how their pictures will look like. Cool, modern pictures that can be use in school, chats, facebook, messenger or even just pictures they themselves think are great. I think it’s important to show your teen that he/she is beautiful the way he/she is. I really put a lot of work and time in meeting with my “models” before the shoot to get to know them better and help them plan how the shoot is going to be. They get to change clothes, test different poses and the final result is cutting edge cool fashion-like pictures, that show your teens the way they would like to be seen!
