I’ve spent the day today at BB Stockholm, one of my dearest clients.

Every time I visit the building, nice sweet memories come to my mind. My two sons were born there and just this time you get to spend with this new miracle that has come to you life is impossible to describe in words.

This time I got to meet four families that had just gotten their babies and I promise to show them all to you this weekend!

I’ve been searching for my favorite songs from one of our favorite composers and singers in Brazil: DJAVAN

As we are renewing our vows in a couple of weeks, nothing better than meaningful lyrics to celebrate a decade together.

Brazil is famous for its poetic Bossa Nova and MPB lyrics, filled with metaphors and hidden messages, and I just can’t listen to a song without hearing what it has to say.

So this will be a musical post and I will include two lyrics of my favorite songs. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the video for OCEANO, but if you liked DJAVAN, it’s worth to buy it!

And I’m adding the lyrics, so if you want to feel Brazilian for a couple of minutes, just sing as loud as you can with him (yeah, as you can hear, that’s what we do when we go to concerts: we sing louder than the singer…..ahahha…..you can imagine that I’ve had some problems when I had just arrived in Sweden and both danced and sang as if there were no tomorrow at concerts where everybody was tiddly sitting and listening to their favorite artist)

And once more I have to thank Tekla’s out of this world family. My job was just holding the camera. I wouldn’t have been able to capture this much love if it hadn’t been there.

Johanna is a warrior, a fighter, and has been fighting her lung disease for many years. I thought nothing could inspire me more than her beautiful words in her blog. And when we met, the love I found in her family of two, inspired me even more.

It all started with a beautiful sunrise at six in the morning and then amazing sunshine the whole day. Not only from the sun itself, but also from three wonderful families I photographed for the Essencevitae Project.

The train ride to Dalarna went as smoothly as I could wish for, and I was met by Hasse Krogh’s welcoming smile at the Hedemora station. Hasse took the day off  and spent it driving me around to the different families I was going to photograph. Thank you Hasse, from the bottom of my heart, for taking part of your precious family time to help us out. I had the honor of photographing Hasse’s family  for our project last year.

Every time I meet these wonderful parents, I get more convinced that love is the absolute best medicine there is in the world. These people are not just outstanding parents, they literally cover their kids with so much love, respect, peace and harmony, that the kids’ smiles are contagious!
